Pet Pals LLC, operating as A Doggie Day, and its affiliated entities (“A Doggie Day”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your Personal Information.  This Privacy Statement describes how we may collect, use and disclose Personal Information on our website.  This Privacy Statement applies to any information we collect or receive from you, from any source.  However, it does not apply to Personal Information that we collect, use or disclose for editorial purposes.  Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, promotions and other updates.

What is Personal Information?

Personal Information means information about an identifiable individual.  Examples of Personal Information that we may collect, use and disclose include your contact information (name, address, phone number or email address) and other individual-specific information that you may provide to us.  Personal Information does not include publicly available information.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us your Personal Information to complete a transaction or verify an order or reservation, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that purpose.  If we ask for your Personal Information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we will disclose it to you and request your consent.  Occasionally, we may collect Personal Information from a third party based on your consent, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Once you agree to provide us with personal information, you are no longer anonymous to us.  If you choose to use and/or purchase certain services, we may require that you provide contact and identity information, and other Personal Information as indicated on forms throughout our website.  Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which are optional.  You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use or purchase a particular service.

A Doggie Day may share Personal Information in order to fulfill the purposes that you have consented to.  We may also share your Personal Information with third party service providers as necessary for them to provide services on your behalf (ex. Veterinarians).

Security

We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and as permitted or required by law.  To protect your Personal Information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Gingr App

Our store is hosted on the Gingr app.  Gingr provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  In addition, Gingr allows us to make reservations and appointments for our services.  Your address and phone number are stored through the Gingr app’s data storage.  Gingr stores your data on a secure server behind a firewall.  Your credit card information is stored through CardConnect’s secure, Level I PCI-compliant data center.  When the Gingr app pulls up your information it is the form of a token that represents your information but does not contain your specific card information.

Third Party Services

In general, third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide.  However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.  For these providers, we recommend that you review their privacy policies so that you can understand the manner in which your Personal Information will be handled by these providers.  In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So, if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act. Once you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website's Terms of Service.

How do we monitor our website?
